The fastest option first

Set your Instagram account to private. Instagram then serves your stories and picture only to approved followers, and this site stops being able to reach any of it within minutes. That covers every viewer site at once, not just this one, and it does not depend on anybody answering your email. If you want the problem solved today, do that first.

Removing your own profile

If you would rather keep the account public and just be excluded here, email support@storypeeker.com with:

• The exact Instagram username, spelled as it appears on the profile
• Confirmation that the account is yours

Once ownership is confirmed the username goes on a block list. Searching it here returns nothing after that, and it stays blocked unless you ask for it to be lifted.

How we confirm it is your account

Usually a message sent from the email address tied to the account, or a temporary line added to the Instagram bio that we can check, is enough. We will tell you which one we need when you write in. We will never ask for your password, and nobody legitimate ever will.

How long it takes

Most requests are handled within two working days, and often the same day. You get a reply confirming the username is blocked. If you have not heard back after three working days, send the email again, it is more likely to have been lost than ignored.

Reporting someone else's profile

If you are reporting an account that is not yours, tell us what the problem is. Content involving a minor, an account impersonating someone, or anything that looks like harassment is removed on sight and does not need proof of ownership. Report it and we will act.

Copyright complaints

If you own the copyright in a photo or video and want it taken down, that goes through the formal route on the DMCA page, which lists exactly what a valid notice has to contain. Use this page for profile removal and that one for copyright.

What we cannot remove

We only show what Instagram already serves publicly. We do not host anything, so removing a profile here does not remove it from Instagram, from search engines, or from any other viewer site. For the content itself, Instagram is where it lives and where it has to be dealt with. Anything else, the contact page reaches us.
